<p><strong>Treff kundene med åpen lommebok</strong></p>
<p>I løpet av dagen har vi mennesker mange situasjonsbestemte behov. Dagbladet ønsker å gjøre det lett å treffe den enkelte akkurat når han eller hun skal gjøre ulike valg, i butikker, på bensinstasjoner, i bilen, ja gjennom hele døgnet. Når lommeboken åpnes, har vi allerede påvirket beslutningen.<strong> </strong></p>
<p>- Tanken er naturligvis nokså enkel, vi ønsker at våre annonsører skal treffe kundene når de er som mest mottagelig for ulike budskap, i riktig kanal på riktig tid, sier salgssjef Chris Tallerås Steen i Dagbladet.</p>
<p>- Det er for eksempel ikke særlig relevant å annonsere frokosttilbud på mediebrett om kvelden, eller gode ferietilbud på mobil når folk befinner seg i bilen mandag morgen. Vi ønsker at frokosttilbudene skal treffe om morgen, at ferietilbudene skal treffe i helgen når familien har tid og anledning til å vurdere tilbudene sammen, fortsetter Steen.</p>
<p><strong>Større behov for å treffe riktig</strong></p>
<p>Client Services Director hos Maxus Global, May Lene Glomsrud er svært opptatt av modus og relevans;<strong> </strong></p>
<p>- Modus gjennom uken og døgnet har vært viktig i mange år, men på grunn av det stadig mer kompliserte mediemangfoldet – og erkjennelsen av at ingen har budsjetter til å «være på og overalt hele tiden» &#8211; er det nå stadig viktigere å treffe konsumenten i riktig modus og miljø, forteller Glomsrud.</p>
<p><strong>Prio, prio, prio</strong></p>
<p>- Som rådgivere skal vi gi gode råd om hva som bør prioriteres – og ikke minst hva som bør prioriteres vekk! I et stort og spennende mangfold finnes mange gode muligheter og fristelser, men selv ikke de største kan ubegrenset være på og må velge. Dette er heller ingen målsetning å være på overalt, men heller å treffe målgruppen i et relevant miljø, modus og til riktig tidspunkt. Dette bygger ikke bare kortsiktige resultater, men også langsiktig effekt for merkevaren. Derfor blir vår viktigste jobb å prioritere riktig for å oppnå maksimal effekt av medieinvesteringene, fremholder Glomsrud.</p>
<p><strong>Leder og mor</strong></p>
<p>- Å treffe i riktig modus handler også om å treffe i riktig HUMØR! Eksponerer en noen for et godt tilbud, men til feil tid kan aktiviteten virke mot sin hensikt. Men treffer vi med budskapet til riktig tid og miljø, vil det garantert gi bedre resultater. For å prioritere og ta de beste valgene for kundene våre, jobber vi mye med analyse av målgruppeinnsikt for å kartlegge og forstå målgruppens atferds bilde best mulig. Mange har ulike roller gjennom døgnet og uken, en er for eksempel både leder og mor – da gjelder det å treffe med riktig budskap når en er i riktig rolle, påpeker Maxus-direktøren.</p>
<p><strong>Økt effekt</strong></p>
<p>Direktør/Insight &amp; Communications Planning i Starcom, Stian Giskeødegård, underbygger også fokus på modus:</p>
<p>- Ulike tidspunkt og situasjoner trigger ulike behov og ulik atferd gjennom døgnet. Evner man som markedsfører å forstå hvordan dette fungerer for en spesiell produktkategori, og å tilpasse seg dette, kan effektene fra kommunikasjon øke betydelig. Nøkkelen er å unngå å bli for generell og fokusere på innsikt som gir svar på hvor og når ditt produkt og din målgruppe har naturlige tangeringspunkter gjennom dagen. Dette vil påvirke medievalgene direkte, og også kunne øke relevansen for budskapet i kommunikasjonen. På denne måten vil modusorientert planlegging kunne øke sannsynligheten for ønsket respons fra forbruker, sier Giskeødegård</p>
<p><strong>Store muligheter i Dagbladet</strong></p>
<p>- Modus handler om å få mest mulig igjen for investeringene &#8211; å bruke midlene når målgruppen er mest mottagelig for budskapet. Med 1,4 millioner lesere daglig og 2,6 millioner ukentlig – samt sterke kanaler innen papiravis, magasiner, nett, brett, TV og mobil, så har vi store muligheter til å tilby våre kunder stor effekt gjennom Dagbladet. For eksempel kan det være smart å flytte deler av et TV-budsjett og kombinere med mer kjøpsutløsende kanaler, avslutter salgssjef Chris Tallerås Steen.</p>

<li>The eighth edition of Cãominhada (Dog Walk) in Santos, an annual congregation of thousands of dogs and their humans, saw the debut of a beer made just for dogs.</li>
<li>The non-alcoholic Dog Beer contains malt and vitamin B, and is flavored with meat. It is marketed as a tasty alternative to solid dog food. Unlike Brazilian beer for humans, which is almost always served icy cold, Dog Beer is served at room temperature (Globo.com, 1 July 2012).</li>
<li>The maker of Dog Beer also makes Pet Beer and Cat Beer. The tagline — <em>“A bebida do seu melhor amigo</em>” (The drink for your best friend) — is all the reason dog lovers need to buy such a beverage.</li>
</ul>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A-pressen presenterte tidligere denne uken en undersøkelse de har gjort sammen med TNS Gallup.</p>
<p>Undersøkelsen baserer seg på å kartlegge befolkningens vaner og holdninger til reklame og annonsering i nasjonale vs. lokale aviser. Undersøkelsen gikk også ut på å kartlegge driverne for befolkningens ulike valg relatert til FMCG-kategorien. Det blir hyppigere og hyppigere annonsering i denne kategorien.</p>
<p>Utvalget for denne undersøkelsen er internettbefolkningen på 18+ i hele Norge.  Utvalget svarte på spørsmål om medievaner, holdninger til reklame, holdninger til mediekanaler, viktigheten rundt merkekjennskap, middagsplanlegging og innkjøp.</p>
<p>Undersøkelsens funn viser at lokalavisen har i kombinasjon nett og papir en langt sterkere lojalitet enn riksavisen. Riksdekkende nettaviser er mer modne, sammenlignet med lokale nettaviser.</p>
<p>Nettavisleserne er langt mer positive til reklame i lokale nettaviser, enn i riksaviser på nett. Uavhengig av medieplattform står lokalavisene mye sterkere enn riksavisene og befolkningen har langt høyere tillit til reklame i lokale kanaler og de foretrekker å motta reklame der. Lokale avisers styrke er deres klare lokale forankring og man opplever derfor annonser som er nær dem som mer relevant, tillitvekkende og nyttig.</p>

I januar 2012 bistod vi DIXI i en undersøkelse blant befolkningen om holdninger rundt temaet voldtekt. Dette har resultert i en mediestorm uten like. Representanter fra DIXI holdt tirsdag 26.mars en konferanse for presse, stortingsrepresentanter og andre interessenter, hvor de la frem resultatene fra undersøkelsen.</p>

<p>Online video advertising company <a href="http://www.yume.com/" target="_blank">YuMe</a> has joined with media research and ratings company Nielsen to quantify the lift that consumer packaged goods (CPG) advertisers get when running campaigns that combine traditional television advertising with online video ads. The study found gains in reach, frequency, and recall.</p>
<p>YuMe used Nielsen&#8217;s TV/Internet Fusion service to track the impact of a $500,000 online video ad campaign that ran concurrently with a $2.6 million TV campaign. It found that the online ads increased reach for the targeted demographic (35- to 54-year-olds) by 7 percent. It also found that the online campaign extended the TV campaign&#8217;s reach by 6 million people in the key demographic.</p>
<p>The number of people seeing the campaign three or more times increased by 31 percent, the study found, when online video ads were combined with TV ads. The number of people seeing the campaign six or more times increased by 52 percent.</p>
<p>The study found that online video ads are more effective than TV for improving brand and message recall. Nielsen testing showed a brand recall increase of 22 percent and a message recall increase of 31 percent a day after seeing the ads.</p>
<p>&#8220;TV and digital ad planners can no longer operate in a vacuum in which online video advertising remains a silo apart from TV spend, because it fails to account for the fact that audiences are no longer stationary,&#8221; says Ed Haslam, vice president of marketing for YuMe. &#8220;Dual-platform campaigns offer demonstrable value and greatly outperform a TV-only campaign while improving overall cost efficiency.&#8221;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Statistikk-nettstedet Pingdom har gått gjennom nett-trafikken i  2011, og kommer med en lang rekke interessante tall når det gjelder  utviklingen av vårt kjære internett i løpet av fjoråret.  I følge deres beregninger er det nå totalt sett 2.1 milliarder  nettbrukere (30 prosent av jordas befolkning). Til sammenligning var  tallet bare 360 millioner i år 2000, skriver itavisen på sine sider.</p>

<p><strong>Kina er størst</strong><br />
Det er Asia som leder  an, med 922 millioner brukere, og Kina er landet med flest brukere i  verden, 485 millioner. Det er mer enn det totale antallet brukere i  Europa &#8211; 476 millioner.</p>
<p>Pingdom har også tatt med mange andre  artige tall: Visste du at 1 trillioner videoer ble spilt av på YouTube i  2011, eller at 48 timer med video blir lastet opp til YouTube hvert  minutt? Vi merker også at den mest sette videoen i hele fjor var flotte  Friday med Rebecca Black.</p>
<p><strong>Stadig mer sosialt</strong><br />
Facebook  passerte 800 millioner brukere i 2011, og 200 millioner av disse kom  til i løpet av året. Lady Gaga var den mest fulgte personen på Twitter,  med 18.1 millioner abonnenter, og #egypt var den mest populære hashtagen  i fjor. I 2011 var det også 40 år siden den første eposten ble sendt, i  1971. Det var totalt sett 555 millioner individuelle nettsider i  desember 2011.</p>

<p>Undersøkelsen viser at 40 % av eiere av lesebrett og smarttelefoner, bruker disse mens de ser på TV.</p>
<p>Så hva er det man gjør mens man ser på TV? Undersøkelsen viser at mer enn halvparten sjekker email under reklamepausene, og 45 % surfer på nettet. Mange bruker også tiden til å oppdatere seg på de sosiale netteverkene, men dette er mer en trend blandt kvinner enn menn. Det som er veldig interessant er et nær en tredjedel bruker smarttelefoner og lesebrettene til å sjekke sportsresultater og informasjon relatert til det de ser på TV. Nesten 20 % sjekker informasjon relatert til reklamene de ser på TV, noe som er et ganske stort antall.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>HUB-undersøkelsen 24 timer</strong></p>
<p>TNS Gallup har siden 1999 gjennomført dagbok undersøkelser (GTM og 24) som har gitt ny innsikt om folks mediebruk i forhold til oppholdssted og gjøremål. Ved siste runde av 24  ble det også utviklet mål for engasjement. En HUB-undersøkelse innenfor MMU prosjektet vil gi samme analyse muligheter. 24 timer 2011 gjennomføres nå i oktober/november på WEB i et nytt spørreskjema grensesnitt. En egen prosjektgruppe har jobbet med innholdet i en egen bakgrunnsundersøkelse som bl.a. vil inneholde informasjon om:</p>

<li>Salgsutløsende reklamebærere</li>
<li>The Involment Index of Media: IIM</li>
<li>Word Of Mouth: WOM</li>
<li>The Engagement Pyramid of Social Media: EPM</li>
<li>Demografi (respondentene er vervet fra GallupPanelet).</li>
</ul>
<p>Det vil bli tilbudt et skreddersydd software for å analysere selve HUB-undersøkelsen. Den nye  HUB-undersøkelsen vil gi ny informasjon som tidligere kun har vært tilgjengelig via 24 timer.</p>
<p>Utvalg er på 4 500 respondenter som gir særdeles gode muligheter for nedbrytning. Det er dekning og frekvens på tvers av flere medier og mediekanaler, dekningsoppbyging over tid og i ulike påvirkningskanaler, nye innfallsvinkler for definering av målgrupper, nye innfalsvinkler for definering av viktige påvirkningspunkter. Koblingen mellom HUB-undersøkelsen, valutaundersøkelsene og målgruppedata.</p>
<p>Målet med MMU er å gi økt presisjon og trygghet  for riktige medievalg og medievalgskombinasjoner. Økt forståelse for multimediakonsum og å få et strategisk verktøy.</p>
<p>Det er et behov å få samlet mange innfallsvinkler til en MMU, og bedre ha oversikt over dagens “ATAWAD” mediakonsum (any time, any where, any device).</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ipad er enda ikke lansert i Norge men Nielsen måler allerede en god del adferd og bruk fra amerikanske brukere.</p>
<p>4% sier at de har eller disponerer en &#8220;tablet computer&#8221; mens ser man på innovatører er det over 48% som svarer at de har eller disponerer en. De siste eier ofte i snitt 3 type enhet som kan kobles til nettet, om det er smartphone, musikkspiller eller ebook leser.</p>
<p>Disse brukere er opptatt av tilgang og innhold. Ipad øker forbruk av magaziner og video i forhold til Iphone brukere. <br />
Ipad brukere er også mer konfortable med reklame og ikke minst mer åpen for reklame enn blant annet iphone brukere.</p>
<p>Innhold er det som driver bruk. Teknologi gir tilgang.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Dobling av daglig bruk på et år!]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TNS Gallup har publisert de siste tall om mobilt medieinnhold bruk. I Q3 2010 bruker 22,6% eller 934.000 personer minst en mobil innholdsleverandør i løpet av en uke. 14,9% eller 616.000 personer brukte minst en mobil innholdsleverandør daglig. Dette er en sterkere vekst enn det man trodde skulle ske. Daglig er det dobbelt så mange brukere enn i Q3 2009.</p>
<p>Bruk av smartphones er med å gjøre mobilt innhold lett tilgjengelig, datatraffikk øker samt bruk av apps. Mulighet til å koble seg på trådløs nettverk er også en stor påvirkning på tilgangstallene.</p>
<p>VG mobil er den største nyhetsleverandør med 260.000 daglige brukere.</p>
<p>Ukentlige brukere av mobilt medieinnhold skiller seg fra resten av befolkningen. Det er flere menn enn kvinner og flere i aldersgruppen fra 12 -39 år som bruker mobilt medieinnhold daglig kontra i befolkningen 12 år +.<br />
29% av mennene bruker mobilt medieinnhold minst ukentlig, mens 16% av kvinnene er brukere.<br />
Mobile innholdsleverandører har attraktive og resurssterke målgrupper med høy utdanning og inntekt. Aftenposten Mobil har flest brukere med høy utdanning  og høy husstandsinntekt.  TV 2 Mobil har flest mannlige brukere mens Gule Sider Mobil har flest kvinnelige brukere. TV 2 Mobil har høyest andel brukere i aldersgruppen 12-19 år, mens NRK Mobil har flest brukere i aldersgruppen 40 +.</p>
